About The Working Women's Network
Be Connected, Inspired and Enriched
The primary aim of the Working Women's Network is to assist our members to connect and create opportunities that will enable them to achieve business and personal goals. Our business Network will:
- act as a meeting point both online and face to face for working women to connect with each other
- encourage the development of business opportunities
- provide inspiration, motivation and information through event speakers
- provide relevant training and facilitation programs for skill development
- hold events at times and locations that are conveniently accessible to as many women as possible
These objectives are achieved through monthly networking functions, periodic skill development workshops, a members online resource centre, topic forums and a business directory where you can highlight your business and seek the services of other members.
We welcome and actively encourage our members to have input into the information and resources available on our site and to provide the feedback that drives our event topics.
We generally meet on a monthly basis (on a Tuesday night) at Checkers Resort and Conference Centre in Terrey Hills. Guest Speakers at these events as well as presenters at our seminars and workshops will address topics in the following areas:
- Leadership and Management
- Career Progression
- Professional Development
- Personal Development (motivation, self-esteem, etc)
